What are some good songs from U2 and similar groups?

I listen to just about everything...with the exception of Metal, Punk, Country...So mainly I listen to hip hop, soft rock, pop and others....so I do like groups like Creed...I happened to be working the U2 360 tour in Atlanta and I liked what I heard...I just don't know the names of the songs I heard and what the more popular ones are...also give me the names of similar groups
