What if he says no i dont want to go to sadies with you?

k so there's this guy i want to ask to go to sadies with and we're good friends and i have already decided that im just gonna ask him if he wants to go with me but my concern is if he says no what do i say but also if he does say yes what do i say then? it may sound a bit lame but seriously i need ur help :)
