Has anyone been able to work successfully as a computer programmer in a toxic environment ?

If you are a good programmer than you don't need to work in such environment... If I'd saw something like this in my company, I whould of gone long time ago...From what you "describe" above you have a little time for what you have been hired to do in this company (most of the companies in which applies this "rules" are beginning to "die" slowly)...
