How do I forget love?

My darling, I was the same way when I was younger up until about a year ago. I led a very empty life. And the older I got, the harder I became. It did protect me for awhile I guess you could say. But understand that when there's a plan put in place for your life, it will happen no matter what we do to avoid it. When it's time, you'll see the right one in front of you. Going through all of the pains in our lives, it builds character and strength. At the time it was all happening, I didn't understand what it was for but now, I wouldn't change it for the world. I love who I've become because of love and lost love. And the one that was put in front of me...I couldn't have asked for a more perfect person to fit me.
