Respect for the police?

Ill ask this QUESTION again as the one Iasked earlier was removed after I gave the best answer to STAND2,who gave a good answer.I believe that the police could possibly be the moderators on this site,WELCOME TO BRITAIN 2008!Why does noone respect ,or even like ,the police nowadays,especially the poor and disadvantaged??
