What are good books on Mayan and Aztec Civilization?

I've been wanting to read about Mayan and Aztec civilization, my school library is very small and hardly has any books on the subject. Now I'm ready to buy several books from Barnes and Nobles and I want to order some on this subject, can any one recommend some good ones... preferably some old ones. :D
