True Texan? What do you think?

I am very annoyed by this man I know. He was born in Texas but, he moved out at two months old. He has been raised in California his whole life. He wouldn't even know he was born in Texas if he was not told so. He says he cannot stand the way California people are. He is always putting California down. He tells everyone he meets that he is from Texas. He acts like he knows Texas so well and it makes me sick. He says he is nothing like Californians. He says he is not rude and that he is a friendly Texan. He is not even around Texans! I think he should just tell people he is from California and not even mention Texas.
